Signs by Design - A Cut Above the Rest
Prairie born artist, Denise Krochak has been creating art since she could first hold a pencil. This totally self taught artist's love of animals, wildlife and rural life shines through her artwork. Growing up on the back of a horse and viewing the world around her from that vantage point allows Denise to depict her subjects, especially horses and animals in an accurate and detailed manner few artists can rival.

Denise loves the challenge of creating fresh, unique and detailed original artwork for her customers. She feels that because we are all individuals, we each deserve something that totally reflects our personality and successfully strives to provide that unique product for each of her customers.

Her eye for detail is virtually unmatched and this detail makes her work highly sought after in all corners of the earth. All of Denise's work is hand made and leaves her possession with a little piece of herself. What appear to be just plain sheets of metal or dull pieces of wood, are transformed into beautiful, durable pieces of art under the direction of Denise's skilled hands and creative mind.

Although creating artwork had been a business for a number of years before, Signs By Design became a company in 1995. Denise added metal art and signs to the already existing cedar and commercial sign and artwork business in late fall 2001.

Signs By Design works hand in hand with it's customer to create one of a kind orignal hand made art pieces whether it be in the form of signs or other functional artwork. Our work can be found at larger shows across Western Canada as well as a few select stores across the prairies.

When not creating, Denise spends time with her two greatest masterpieces, daughter Morgan and son, Dyllan. She also likes to spend time with business partner and life partner Shayne.
